Had the day off unexpectedly today. I showed up to rehearsal twenty minutes early only to find that tonight's act only had one trumpet part. I twas nice to have some time to work on other projects, but I wish that I had known sooner as then I could've spent some time in La Spezia. Oh well, Rome tomorrow -- I'm on a mission to get some more of the perfect pesto sauce, and to see the Sistine Chapel. In that order. I have my priorities straight, as you can see.
